Stop apologising for others sins! That is Capitalism's greatest fault.It takes on the sins of the world like a biblical sin eater.I know people who do this.They apologise for their existence.They assume others guilt.I had to speak to my neice about this recently.She thinks if people dislike her it must be her fault and she is doing something wrong.I had to explain that this is far from being always so.How about the Bush haters/ The Christ haters? Even taking it on a story level it illustrates the point ie people hated this guy because he was good.Hatred of the good for being the good as someone once put it as being their working definition of envy and I think, a very good one.Good people hate bad people. Translated into the current occupy protests the logic is played out thus:Communists Socialists city occupiers hate Capitalism, ergo Capitalism must be bad and evil and it must apologise to its detractors.You acquiesce in the narrative and agendas of your enemy.You are on the back foot.You now start cravenly apologising for your virtues.Conservatism anyone?They specialise in this self loathing.They cravenly truckle to the anti Capitalist forces, insisting on watering down the mixed economy with even further regulations,bureaucracy,closing down of tax loopholes,castigating the producers excesses,apologising for Capitalism's achievements.If you dare to be a whiole hearted supporter of Capitalism they sneer that you are an ideological purist and say that you are no better than the absolutist Stalinists.In effect they are saying,you claim 1 and 1 is two.This is extremism.You must compromise and say it is 3.If you do not that makes you as bad as the 1 and 1 is 5 Stalinists.How can you reason with such crackerbarrel illogic?But I digress.(Or do I?!) So we have Capitalism apologising to its enemies.What impression does this create in the wider public?That Capitalism is guilty.That it must be muzzled.That is exactly what is happening.Right in front of our eyes,like a sleight of hand we are buying into this anti Capitalist agenda and there are now policies afoot that will snuff out the last remaining freedoms we do have and another lurch to the Left with illiberal programmes which will end with our complete subordination and enslavement to the State.

So how do we counter this dynamic? We need to recognise the game that is being played.Someone called it winning through intimidation.The Left is all about violence,agression,intimidation.Look at its tactics.Look at its language.Occupy.It is about then use of force for political ends. It conflates economic power with political power.If you are rich you must be powerful and ergo dangerous and your power ie money must be taken from you.It completely blanks out how that money was acquired adopting the Balzacian Marxist line that behind all great fortune lies crime.The smear campaign against capitalism is as viral as it is malicious.It is a trojan.The bailouts have complicated the issue somewhat as the occupiers are protesting also about corporate welfare and in this alone they are correct.There should have been no bailouts.But they are using this as a pretext to muzzle freedom and nationalise the banks thus totally socialising the economy leading to the inevitable communist conclusion.

To conclude, Capitalism's virtues but be heralded.It must be defended.The forces of darkness are gathering.Global Marxist Jihad is on the march.The anti Capitalist foot soldiers have breached the citie's defences.The forces of freedom must be gathered,the battle for our future must be joined.If not we could be looking at another feudalist back to the future lurch, a barbaric atavistic return to subsistence and penury a, post industrial wasteland of totalitarian proportions, another pre capitalist dark ages where tribalist yahoos tyranise with licence roaming the earth, plundering and looting at will, seeking who they may devour and good men hide in caves.

World's Religions Common Denominator

Answering My Conservative Critics

As a regular visitor to Conhome and other Conservative sites I come across a lot of hostility to my pro Capitalist views. Only half the comments I post see the light of day as they seem to be very sensitive to criticism and can only take so much.They are quite happy to let left wing people post however so I leave others to draw their own conclusions on that one.I should not be surprised at this I suppose but I am for several reasons.The level of incomprehension I meet with is quite shocking.I am accused of being Stalinist, an SWP mole trying to discredit Capitalism! I will leave that job to the Conservatives as they are past masters at that.My Conservative critics have far more in common with Stalin than I do as many support socialised health care,redistribution of wealth, the welfare state.I can only conclude that this ignorami are products of the State education system and have had all the common sense and intelligence bred out of them courtesy of UK Socialist indoctrination from birth.They are prone to projection accusing me of the very things they are guilty of.Ad hominem assaults and abuse are all they have as obviously there have no arguments against my position.

Why is Conservatism in Europe and America an abysmal failure at reversing the tide of Statism and Socialism? The common mistake people make is to think that change has to come from the top.We have to have the consent of the governing.Wrong!Pressure has to be applied from the bottom up.Those with the economic power will also play a major part,ie the creators of wealth,the industrialists, the businessmen large and small.Power to the people as John Lenin once said.You say you want a revolution Left?Ok we will give you one.Not a mixed economy Thatcher revolution with one foot on the barricade and the other on the shouting 'the NHS is safe with us'.Not with us it won't be.Ono.We are going cold turkey on Statism.No gradualism.What do we want?Freedom.When do we want it? Altercation with street preacher blocking the pass outside Macdonalds with his blackboard and gibberish.Told him his religion was bunk.He had to ask me 'is what' and I repeated it.Bunk I said.Then he pointed at me and said are you saying you know better than Him? Looking back in languor at my blog over time I have to admit the tone has seemed implacably rancourous and splenetic with some of the views expressed not those I frankly share now.The writing is overwrought and verbose so in both style and content there is much I would now edit away or radically prune and excise but then it is the raw material of what was felt at the time so why indulge in palimpestic revisionism but rather see it as a sort of journey towards the light with lots of faltering steps,excursions into blind alleys and downright erroneous assumptions in liberal proportions before the destination of truth is arrived at or approximations therof.Let my critics if there be any point to past errors and point out my extravagancies hyperbolic licences and seeming inconsistencies and dwell in the past if they so choose.I shall leave all my glaring errors to the judgemnt of posteriority and embrace the now and the battle for clarity of expression and meaning. Taxation Is Slavery

Taxation is the use of force by the State against a defenceless populace to deprive it of its property.It is an act of theft and should not be sanctioned or rationalised away by eupehemisms or evasions.The State's sole function is to protect individual rights not to violate them by arbitrary dictat and appropriation of private property in the name of some subjectivist mushy non defined 'public good'.Any country that practises such larceny is violating the liberty of its citizens and is rightly speaking Communist and totally without moral legitimacy.

The argument for taxation is couched in deliberately vague terms,words such as 'fairness' are deployed, tired phrases such as 'those with the broadest shoulders should bear the most',(shades of Animal Farm) and bizarre comments such as the rich will not down tools because the highest earners are compulsive entrepreneurs who cannot stop working even if they tried with the obvious implication that therfor they can be taxed with impunity.The tax mongers have become so mad and arrogant with power that they do not feel the need to even disguise their naked wealth grab and are brazen in their contempt for such pesky little matters as property rights,liberty and the individual rights of the wealth creators.They have sussed the zeitegeist and know that they can stick it to the rich and be respected for it by the non productive envy ridden mediocrities who are the liberal's natural voting clientiele.

Once it becomes clear in the public mind that taxation is indeed theft no matter how many euphemisms are deployed and layered upon it to disguise the fact,then taxation will no longer be tolerated and no governement that tried to impose it would be given the time of day.We have a distance to travel before we reach that destination but it can be done if presented in clear terms and explained in such a way that the big lie of taxation is exposed and the elaborate obsfuscation painstakingly constructed around it is stripped away to reveal the nasty little secret of the great tax con.

Well its been a long long time since I`ve been gone due to computer breakdown. What scum those students are who protested the other day at Topshop. I am glad less students will be able to go to university.Less Communists.They are not fit to flip burgers.They have been brainwashed with anti capitalist propaganda and are worthless human offal.Phillip Green is a great entrepreneur and should pay no taxes instead of the tens of millions he has.What would those idiot moron students know about productive industrious effort?They can throw fire extinguishers off buildings at innocent people and that is it.What is the point of them? They have already been destroyed by the Socialist State Educations system.The world owes them a living.They want to be paid for existing.These barely human blobs of protoplasm are the end product of 50 years Communist brainwashing in our state schools.

Royal Family My Arse

So the nauseating spectacle of the royal marriage is going to be inflicted on its subject peoples for months to come.This hideous freak show of royal parasites sucking the public dry so they can live high off the hog is so obscene as to defy all description.The feeble argument that it only costs all of us 60p a year would not stand up in a court of law.If I were charged with stealing tens of millions of pounds from the public and argued in my defence that it only amounted to 60p per person I would be laughed out of court and put behind bars.For all our sakes let us hope the ring brings as much luck to the smirking William's wife to be as it did to its original owner.

A Peasants Revolt Is Wat We Want

We are serfs ,feudal vassals of a mighty,tyranical despotic,tax-crazed out of control, super totalitarian State! Wat we going to do about it? Are we going to wait for the nice hog-tied Tories in the marriage of convenience called the Coition to save us? No one hold their breath there.

To give just a small hint about what such a revolt would entail we could mention witholding of council tax, TV licence, not filing self assessment tax return.Such things if done en masse could send a clear message to our slave masters in parliament.Employers would refuse to be tax collector for the government re Nat ins, not deduct VAT,not pay Corporation tax,Capital gains,business rates tax etc.

The last peasant revolt was very bloody.This will be a bloodless,velvet revolution.Non cooperation with the bully State.

The synthetic hysteria of the BBC Left chateratti this past week over housing benefit has been very instructive.One moron from Shelter or some other shouty group for the so called disadvantaged came out with the startling observation that people who lived in these expensive over subsidised inner London dwellings were,quote,'real people'.Interesting.Does that mean that the people who actually work and cannot afford to live in such rich houses so have to commute into London and whose taxes support these thousands of idle parasitic specimens of social pathology are not 'real people'?I think they should tell us so we can get the matter sorted out.In the meantime all sensible fair minded peple can see the patently blatant unfairness of the present system where the hard working are the effective slaves and serfs of the non working,forced to keep them in the Manors to which they have become accustomed.Wasn't slavery supposed to be abolished centuries ago?

Conservatives: Get Nasty

Listening to the nice Mr Tim Montgomerie of Conservativehome debating with Polly Tuscanny Toynbee I was struck by the contrast between the two's interlocutory tactics.It was a bit like watching a pussycat being torn to pieces by a rottweiller.The rhetoric of the Left may be rabid and hysterical and not to be emulated but I do feel Conservatives need to be a bit more aggressive in defending Coalition policies especially when they are so patently justified and correct.Why the timorous apologetic tone?

I just think too many Conservative are too nice for their own good.We need a Tebbit who hasn't been to Eton or wherever these Cameroons have been.Perhaps they are trailing some (unjustified) guilt for their background and so cannot say what needs to be said about the depraved poor and their feckelss welfare dependent ways.A working class Tory is something to be.If we are to win this battle for the hearts and minds of our nation the Coalition needs to let loose the attack dogs of war. The alternative, a world where the mad Toynbee Leftist view prevails is one that would not be worth living in.

Why Does The Left Talk More Than The Right?

I once asked a female member of staff at Waterstone bookstore why in the political section almost all the books were by Left of centre writers.Her answer was in retrospect quite insightful but at the time I was too irked to notice.She said 'maybe Conservative writers don't feel the need or the necessity to write books.'Spot on!Why bother writing books stating the bleedin obvious ie putting the Conservative pro freedom argument?Only of course it is necessary to assert core values even if this puts one in danger of being accused of stating the obvious.It may be obvious that freedom is better than slavery but in an age where slavery is dressed up in clever words as freedom it behoves us to expose the great liberal lie.

So why does the Left have so much to say for itself?Like the conman they have a lot of explaining to do.They must convice us by clever specious argument that up is down, and one and one is three and why we are foolish and mad and evil for not seeing it.This takes a lot of words,lots of books!

In Defence Of Tax Avoidance and Evasion

Is tax evasion the last taboo?To hear even Conservative views on this you would think it was the greatest human evil after paedophillia.In fact it probably carries with it a longer prison sentence than the latter.I think it needs a champion and in the absence of anyone stepping up to the plate I will will offer my own humble services to this unpopular cause.

If we see someone who looks like a mugger in the street coming towards us good sense tells us to cross over or go down another street to evade him.Is this not what the State has become, a mugger, except that in its case it is mugging on an industrial scale,wholesale larceny,a form of organised crime with the whole panoply of the state behind it?True,it has a whole Statist Socialist philosophy to justify its criminality,a lexicon or rationalised euphemisms about,'duty', 'moral responsibility' 'those with the broadest shoulders' ad nauseam. But when all the ratiocinations are stripped away is this not what the criminal does to rationalise his actions? He too picks on on those with the 'broadest shoulders' to plunder in his nightly sorties on the wealthier properties around the country, engaging in his own personal wealth redistribution programme.

It makes about as much sense to accuse the individual who evades the mugger in the street of 'exploiting a loophole' as it does to accuse the wealthy businessman of the same thing who has worked hard to achieve success and does not see why he should allow the fruits of his labour to be plundered by career criminal politicians spouting their pious cant about duty and moral responsibility.

The Phoney Drugs War

Why is it that the Governement that cannot even police the streets and protect us from serial criminals wants to police our bodies, telling us what we can and cannot ingest?Isn't this rather odd?Something is wrong with this picture.Our thoughts are policed as well and those with politically incorrect ones could well have their collar felt by PC Taliban invoking religious hate crime legislation. So, we have to ask ourselves what is behind this bizarre morally inverted universe our police authorites inhabit and what is the thinking behind their twisted priorities.

I am going to try and monitor and report back over the next few months on my BBC listening to document Left wing bias where I observe it.To build up a sort of dosier as it were.To start the process I will refer to a comment by Justin Webb whom I lothe with a viscerality that is is frankly verging on the unhealthy.In fact this whole excercise may just be a reflection of my latent masochism.For a sort of Tory/Capitalist having to listen to the BBC period is an exquisite form of torture but someone has to do it gentle readers and I have elected to suffer as it were on your behalf - so you don't have to.Bear with me.With nose firmly held I shall proceed.

Today on a discussion about funding of the arts by philanthropists, Justin Webb referred pejoratively(believe me, I have an acute antennae for this sort of thing) to 'Big Money'.Has he ever made pejorative reference to 'Big Governement'?Has he ever.Is it not odd incidentally to reflect on the attitude of those who think the Arts should be funded by the State in that they are effectively saying that unless people are forced to support the Arts by the compulsory extraction of taxes the Arts would perish?What a profound lack of confidence in the Arts this implies.Or is it that they see the State as a tool in their cultural war,funding their thinly disguised propaganda masquerading as Art? I think both.

I think we need a Conservative journalist like Andrew Neil on the Today panel to get a little balance.Perhaps I should start a campaign?

You will notice that on the BBC the Left are always given twice as much time to put their case.They will even take up the time of their Conservative opposite number,interrupting,talking over them and of course the host will allow this trespass as he or she is coming from the same liberal left position.The host will almost always let the liberal guest have the last word.

Finally, the Today programme would not be complete without a performance by their own liberal darling Sham Liberty Chuckyourbalti prissily defending in faux moral terms the rights of would-be terrorists to go about their business of blowing us all up unmolested by the securtiy services.This apologist for all things terrorist and the free pass she gets from the BBC makes my gorge rise and is probably inimical to my blood pressure but, - all in the course of duty!

Andrew Marr does not think much of bloggers.He thinks they are weird.(Has the man looked in the mirror recently?) He complains about their anonymity and thinks this contributes to the coarse and vituperative dialogue on the net.Perhaps he wants them to identify themselves so th thought police can come round and arrest them for thoughtcrime? They are anonymous because like samizdat the net provides a forum for people who cannot speak openly in public without the BBC like forces of political correctness, of which Marr is an obscene specimen,attempting to circumscribe their freedom of speech.

The sheer chutzpah of Marr and his ilk is breathtaking. The BBC has virtual hegemony of the airwaves and does so by compulsion by the State. The British people are forced to finance the corporation if they want to own a TV on pain of imprisonment. But this is not enough for Marr it would seem. He wants to put a stop to all the independent expressions of thought not officially sanctioned by the State.It is worth paying attention to Marr because in his person we see the soul of the liberal fascist laid bare.

What Would a Country Based On Individual Rights Look Like?

Blaming the banks for our economic woes is like a mother blaming sweet manufactuers for her childs rotting teeth, or a man with lung cancer blaming the cigarette manufacturers.Who took out all the godamn credit cards,loans and mortgages? America,Prohibition Drug War Folly

I am a great fan of America but it shocks me that it can lock up so many of its citizens for drug possession and prostitution.That a country born in freedom could end up seeking to police people's souls and dictate what they can and cannot ingest is troubling.If we believe in a limited State we must be consistent and not then seek to wage war on people's choices however dumb they may be. It is for this reason that I think the war on drugs is insane,illiberal and a criminal waste of taxpayers money.There is so much hypocrisy too in that alcohol and legal drugs abound.

Prostitution may well be abhorrent but again the hypocrisy abounds.Marriage could be seen as glorified prostitution.The man brings home the bacon and the women provides sexual services. There is a financial element to marriage as testified by the legal alimony battles during divorce proceedings.It is not the role of the state to make people moral.Let each man work out his own salvation in fear and trembling (as the good book sayeth!).

The Bible and Other Fairy Tales

Human imagination is limitless.Millions if not billions of books have been written,works of the imagination.The Lord of the Rings,Harry Potter, the Bible.Is it just another fairy tale? It was written by human beings and we know how it is human to make things up. Yes,God is supposed to have infused them with the words but I could make up a story and say it was dictated by God.Why should we take such things on trust?

Religious people have left a trail of havoc and oceans of blood through the centuries.I think a large dose of cynicism is in order.Scott Peck thinks most religious beliefs are neurotically determined and he could be right.Most religious people I know are nincompoops.Even Roy Masters sounds kooky to me these days.He claims you can find God in physics but I find most of what he says incoherent gibberish.If we can find God in physics why do we need faith?Does that not undercut the whole belief thing?

There should be a separation of school and State.These government tax funded faith schools are troubling.I do not want to subsidise mad mullah Muslim schools or any other religious ones for that matter.Have we not got religion to blame for Communism and Socialism? The idea that we are our brother's keeper informs the Left thinking and from which was forged the Welfare State -which was even called the New Jerusalem.

When we examine God objectively he is not avery sympathetic character, displaying totalitarian psychopathic tendencies.If man created beings who had created the havoc and horror that humans have he would have a lot to answer for.Hasn't God got a lot to answer for if we accept he is the creator of mankind?He seemed content to sit back and watch jews herded into the gas chambers.

I am not saying any of the above is necessarily my viewpoint but I do think we should be a bit more critical of religious belief and ask ourselves whether to suspend disbelief re God is that healthy.

What Are Women For?

Women have two functions.Reproductive and child minding.Note I do not say child rearing as this is the male function,to bring the child up as a rational unemotional person.They have a decorative function which facilitates the reproductive one.Feminism is an emotional spasm given a pseudo intellectual gloss with its roots in Marxism.

Women in marriage should have no role in society outside the home least of all in politics.Their irrational unstable emotionalism has given birth to the horrors of Socialism and Communism.There are a few rational women in history namely Ayn Rand and Thatcher but the exception does not prove the rule.

Freedom of the individual of course must prevail and I speak here only of the moral ideal,not what shoud be enforced by the State.

Short prison sentences do not work so we won't send criminals to prison! If the use of force against an individual by an individual is illegal and carries a prison sentence why is force against an individual by the State permitted and sanctioned? The role of the State in a free society is to protect individual rights ie the use of force against an individual is a crime and the State's function is to punish those who commit such acts with the full force of the law.In a Democracy this principle is reversed.The State is the initiator of force against the individual through taxation which is the violation of property rights.Such a State has at this point become illegitimate and the people have a right to overthrow it! Democracy is the mantra of all demagogues,the hypnotic tool of despots and every four years the demoralised drones of demagogueryy dutifully file through the ballot stations and sheep like vote their oppressors in for another four like lambs voting for kebabs.

A tyranny made all the more shameless and abject it must be said in that it has the imprimatur of the British electorate who every four years vote back into power their own oppressors!Can it be doubted that taxation is the tool of tyranny as a man once said?It is a modern form of slavery in that it necessitates State coercion to force a disarmed population into the sevitude of those who will not work to maintain their existence.it is ann insurance scheme that no insurance company would ever dare to concoct.. We can now see how ideology spurned in public discourse continues to exist in reality and informs all political policy and that rather than rejecting it as an anachronism and throw back to 20 th century thinking it is an indespensable ally that must be explicity articulated in any posited objectives by all parties in the clear light of day so that never again can the leftist ideologues promote their policies under false colours of non partisan non ideology. Let their poisonous ideolgy rather be named and called out.And let the Conservatives totally and utterly disavow any tincture of socialist ideology from their public policy especially heaven forbid when smuggled under cover of the arch fiend and impostor, Pragmatism.

Democracy Is Slavery!

Mr Elephant in the drawing room Democracy is the problem.It is the mantra all Demagogues use when they wish to enslave the masses with their own vote.Like the Jews who paid for their rail journey to the gas chambers we pay our slavemasters and go freely to the ballot box to do it.Socialism via mind control has got pretty much everyone in its grip and only the blogosphere is attempting to awaken the living dead to its plight but there is no sign of the life as yet from the corpse of the UK Collective which suggests the rot has gone too deep and there will be no immaculate resurrection from the dead.

We are effectively crying in the wildernesss.The mainstream media has become a cesspit of Statism and in the words of the stalwart Fox presenter Glen Beck is the true fringe media.We are the mainstream.Is there a 'we' or is there only me? I despair of fellow Conservatives.In the UK the Conservatives are so far to the Left they are more like American Democrats.I have very little in common with them to the point that I am thinking of no longer calling myself one.I am ashamed and embarrassed by them.Their proposed reform is so tentative,timorous and peicemeal that it hardly warrants the term. Cameron is a slippery Social Democrat,Tory so- called intelllectuals are seeking to adopt the 'progressive' mantle and there is an unseemly rush to the centre which is already overcrowded - if the centre of a vaccum could be so described.There is a depressing and weary predictability to the Prime Minister in waiting Cameron's pronouncements and but for the fact that another four years of Brown would break the camel's back I find myself wishing for the Tory pre election cat in the bag triumphalist tone to be silenced by hubristic defeat a la Kinnock back in the 90's with his hillarious pre-election victory rally.

It is only when you listen to the ConservativeLabourLiberal Man with his emollient samespeak where words are uttered totally devoid of meaning that you realise just how much work would need to be done to change political dicourse here in the UK,what a Grand Canyon of a chasm there is between the politcal classes and the man on the street who is the victim of the Democratic stitch up and the dumbing down by the Liberal media and State Education establishment. What tyrannical sway the Statists hold over the hapless bemused and hypnotised masses! If it takes two or three generations to breed out the intelligence,indpendence of thought and autonomy of people this is not going to be undone in a generation, if ever.As the spiritual guide and seer Roy Masters has said, it is easy to corrupt someone and brainwash them,almost impossible to undo the damage.A nation reaches a critical mass of rotteness and decay and like the Roman Empire there is no way back.Have we reached this tipping point?

We have to ask a simple question.Are the Tories able and willing to do what will be required to save this country from moral spiritual intellectual decay and death?To ask the question is to the see the folly of such a forlorn hope.Is it sufficient to cross your fingers and hold your nose and just vote Tory? No! They have been given the benefit of the doubt for too long.They have no answers.They have become part of the problem.Whether it be tax,welfare, law and order,BBC,the EU their response is to compromise,parley,appease,temporize,accomodate,,negotiate and surrender.This is betrayal on a industrial scale.It is business as usual,the politics of consensus that Thatcher shattered in the 80's for which she was summarily stabbed in the back by her own party. Since then it has been one long retreat as a default mode for the party that lost its nerve and has been apologising ever since for the one brief moment when it actually believed in something other than power for power's sake.Vote for that? Surely only Conservatives with a self esteem deficit and a masochistic streak could possibly consider accomodating such moral cowardice and delinquency by rewarding it with their vote?

Who will dare question the Sacred Cow of Democracy? Who will point out that the Democratic Emperor is stark naked? As the New Labour project putters to its denoument no one who favours freedom over tyranny can be that optimistic about the incoming Cameron Project.Conservatives on other blogs seem to think that a Tory government can improve on the mess left by Labour but the feeble and half hearted reforms they are promising will clearly not do the job which means it will be business as usual,politics as usual -unless a new way is presented and there seems to be no one or no organisation coming forward with the kind of radical solutions to the UK's ills that would be required to save it from its present predicament.Perhaps it is the case that a country can reach a tipping point when things have gone so far that nothing can save it from terminal decline.I think we have reached that stage.In 1979 when Labour last took the country to the economic brink at least we had Thatcher to start her revolution.Now we have David Cameron...

So what can be done? I think the Conservatives are a bust flush and there is no point thinking that they will be able to offer the radical reform or revolution required.We will have to look elsewhere.At this point my ruminations lead me to a large blank out.Do my thousands of readers have any answers?Until Conservative voters come to the same conclusion about the Party that I have come to we are set for more of the same I am afraid.

Channel surfing as I do I came across and Indian TV satelite channel playing an old Krishnamurti lecture.He spent 40 minutes telling people in his characteristicalyy 'exploratory' way that the problem of Fear is caused by Thought.And Time. Words and thinking are the problem.Thinking about tomorrow.Sitting upright, sedate and somewhat rigidly he peppered his discourse with 'are you following me?' None of the audience piped up and asked him the obvious question: why if words are the problem have you spent the last 40 minutes using words -isn't this a glaring contradiction?Wonder what he would have said.

His core message was attenuated to say the least.We are divided by religious identities he claimed.Fair enough.But then his piece de resistance seemed to be that the main problem with us is this false concept of Self,Individuality.In pure Hinduist fashion he said this is an illlusion.We are all one.There is no division.To me this is bunkum.If someone hit him on the head with a blunt instrument would anyone else feel it but him?.Others may empathise but they wouldn't be the ones with a very sore head.He would.

Michael Jackson

I know this blog is supposed to be about smashing revered images but with the sad passing of pop icon Michael Jackson normal service has been temporarily suspended.

The first time I heard I Want You Back was in 1970 at school although I was only 12(same age as Jackson) I knew straight away here was something unique and different.Here was a child prodigy and although he went totally la la and a whiter shade of pale, his position as major contributor to popular music is unassailable.I never believed he was guilty of the charges levelled against him and even Roy Masters who is no fan of music expressed similar sentiments.He was more Peter Pan than Pied Piper.

It was always improbable that he would ever make it back on stage in his frail condition to perform his gruelling routines that had made him world famous and financial pressures coupled with dependency on various medications were probably the final nails in his coffin.

Perhaps in mourning his passing those for whom Jackson's music provided some sort of soundtrack to their own lives are really mourning their own lost youth but whatever the case hopefully the undoubted genius will find in death the peace that elluded him in his troubled and strange life.

You can always tell where a person is coming from if they hate Margaret Thatcher.It is a litmus test.The unalloyed hatred of the Left toewards her is very instructive.It is almost 20 years since the great Revolutionary Leader was ousted by the moral pygmies of her Party yet the Left still cannot hear her name uttered without going into paroxysms of Pavlovian rage and foam-flecked fury.

The latest example of this phenomenon was the vile and odious 'Lord' Healey on BBC's Radio 4 Desert Island Discs who barely having opened his mouth vilified her memory with a monstrous canard,namely that she was a bad politician because she had no interest in the arts or music.This when it is well documented that she likes poetry and music.But moreover,this from a spiteful and malicious failure of a politician whose disastrous Socialist policies brought the country to its knees, forcing the inept chancellor - none other than Healey himself - to go grovelling ignominiously to the IMF for a bailout.To this day the wretched man cannot bring himself to acknowledge the massive and invaluable contribution Thatcher made to the economic and political revival of this country.

He is I suppose, more to be pitied than despised, but I do wish the BBC would not treat such discredited relics of the Socialist 70's Left with such hallowed deference and respect as if they were an institution when in reality they belong in one.

There is a political vacuum in this country and it must not be filled with Fascist parties like BNP or Far Left Greens.The time for the Capitalist argument is now if it can be put cogently and forcefully.Whether such a movement will emerge is anyone's guess but the time has never been more ripe when the whole present political system has been exposed as nothing more than an organised crime syndicate.

To expect this sea change to be effected by the Conservatives is worse than futile.How many hopes have been dashed,how many times has that party failed to grasp the nettle and reverse the Socialist tide that has engulfed us? They do say insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.Voting Conservative would fall into that category.
