Religion: Rule by Intimidation

No self respecting scientist would ever say in defence of Darwins' theory: 'only a fool has said in his heart there is no evolution' yet religion's whole claim on everyone's life is just that,an argument from authority and ad hominem: 'only a fool has said in his heart there is no God'. It substitutes reason and logic for intimidation,bluster and blagging. Indeed what else can it do as it has no proof or evidence to back up its ludicrous fantastic claims so has to fall back on threats and abuse. Believe this or you will rot in hell is religion's basic message and it hard to comprehend how such a crude piece of intimidation should have held men in subjugation for millenia as it has and continues to so do.Now that is a mystery worth contemplating and marveling at.
