Broadcast Media in the hands of the State
There is a carpet ban on political debate throughout the whole of the broadcasting media in the UK on election day providing a conspicuous contrast with the free press which can print what it will without any state restrictions. This is an appalling state of affairs and one that should not be acquiesced in and tolerated without protest. The result of this repression and violation of free speech is a neutered broadcasting system which even at the best of times is bland due to the onerous state regulation of the airwaves -a state of affairs the left would like to duplicate in our at present free press if it got the chance
