Hopefully what I'm about to say doesn't constitute a "hate crime" - but have you noticed how there do seem to be an awful lot of gay chief constables and MPs these days? Of course, it could just be the media obsessing over them so there only appears to be a load...
Anyway, who are you voting for in the local elections? New Labour, Blue Labour, Lab Dums, or one of the "extreme-right" UKIP/BNP parties?

Inspector Nick Bailey, of Cheshire police, said no further action would be taken against George. However, he said the force had been obliged to record the incident as a crime and that they had dealt with it in a 'proportionate' manner.
So what this means is a crime has been logged and a "crime" has been solved.

I do love the way they "create" crimes in order to "solve" them - while real crime goes on, unreported, undetected, unsolved, unpunished. Excellent.
I don't wholly blame the police - the individuals on the front line have no real option but to follow orders - but the Chief Constables are all a bunch of tossers by the sound of it - who are more interested in sucking cock and climbing the greasy pole than actually catching criminals.
Part of me hopes Brown will be a true Stalinist and embrace the use of purges: certainly ACPO could do with a good clear out.

A 20-year-old man who raped a girl aged 10 has been spared jail in what a judge said was a "wholly exceptional" case.
The judge said: "She was a girl of 10 and you are a man of 20. Those bald facts do not properly represent the true facts of this case.
"The prosecution accepts that you believed she was 16 and that that belief was reasonable."
Edgecombe was conditionally discharged for 18 months and ordered to register with the police as a sex offender.

She must be a rather odd-looking 10 year old to be "reasonably" mistaken for a 16 year old...
...should I even bother asking where her parents were?
