A man who served 25 in prison for hacking his landlady to death with an axe has won an appeal he took to the European Court Of Human Rights for the right of prisoners to vote. The liberals and labour party must be rubbing their hands with glee:more votes! The BBC reported the whole thing straight faced, commenting that from now on prisoner's rights would be on the political agenda. By rights this piece of human excrement would have been six foot under after committing such a heinous crime.Instead he studied law in prison and is on TV smirking that he has won a victory for freedom and liberty. Perhaps some public spirited person will track this pile of human ordure down and bury an axe in his addle pated skull. |

I am always at a loss for words when I am confronted with such insanity.
What’s next, embezzlers graduating as registered accountants in jail, being assigned a job with a government agency after they are released to ensure that they integrate properly in society? Crime should not be rewarded, that’s turning the world upside down.
If the state fails to provide justice for the victims of a crime and instead coddles the criminals one should not be surprised when people will start to seek their own justice. And rightly so.
A few weeks ago there was a documentary about cannibals on TV.
One report was about a cannibal, a Japanese student in Paris, who murdered and ate his girlfriend. He was given over to psychiatrists, sent back to Japan, where the psychiatrists released him so that he now walks around as a free man, earning his living as an actor in pornographic movies and (dig this) a reviewer of restaurants.
