I don't hold much brief for Woodward and Bernstein and don't profess to know much about Watergate but one thing I do know is the latest recording of Trump talking to Woodward over the latter's new book about his administration should scare the bejesus out of everyone where Trump is heard saying in so many words -go listen- o yes I know it (the book in question) will be negative then, most of them are or 50%.
Let's just get this clear. The president of the greatest country in human history, the beacon of freedom and liberty the world over, for it's constitution second to none - and its defense of freedom and liberty and protection free speech is complaining to a journalist that he is writing negative things about him and his administration?
No, it is not the words of the leader of Russia or Cuba or China, or Venezuela or some godforsaken fly blown rat infested hell hole of a banana republic in Africa but of AMERICA, the UNITED STATES - from the lips of the President himself! Don't write anything negative about me - the prescription of All dictators down the ages! Did any journalist who valued his life write something something- anything 'negative' about Lenin or Stalin, Hitler Mussolini?
And silence from the media. The Fake President is not just skating on thin ice now, he has crashed right thru it and has demonstrated with blood curdling candour that not only is he unfit for the highest office in the land but is unfit to be a rat catcher and impeachment proceedings should begin immediately to counter this greatest existential threat to the Republic in its entire noble and inspiring history.

You're terrified because you believe the fake media and lack historical perspective. The bleating by the leftist media is lying propaganda. If you drink that Kool-Aid you might as well be dead because your brain will cease to function. Trump did Woodward a favor by publicizing the old stooge's worthless tome. If you want the truth, there are now many conservative news sources that expose the lies, not least Trump on Twitter. Unlike Obama, Trump has done nothing to oppose the lying fake media except expose them by telling the truth. USA presidents don't lose their free speech rights merely by assuming office. If Trump dared to cross the line, he'd be riddled with litigation and bad press, as he is for taking lawful executive action. I now discount negative reports about Trump until I consider actualities from the man himself, if not reports from people who've transcended the fake media demonization.
