Reluctantly I have to conclude, it will have to be Borris. I have profound misgivings about the man and his character but as the great leader -the only great tory leader in its lamentable history, Maggie famously said, TINA.
In an ideal world it would probably be the Mogg but his studied other worldly 18th century schtick would make him too much of a target for the Left and his religious hinterland would preclude him with his views on abortion etc. The personality of Borris and the mind of Mogg would be the perfect combination but the technology alas is not there at the moment!
His comments today about the suicide vest are so devastating and trenchant, fearless and uncompromising that he has become the indisputable leader in waiting and must now take the fight to May with a direct leadership challenge - hopefully, as rumored, tomorrow.
May cannot be allowed to remain leader in a general election against Corbyn. She only just scraped in last time - her reputation has gone even further down the toilet since then and it would almost certainly lead to a Corbyn government - then forget Brexit, forget everything, it will be UK RIP.
