The new politics would involve a system where no politician or party would be able to include in their manifesto any promise to take money away from individuals or businesses that had earned it and give it to others who have not in exchange for their vote. The state would have no tax or regulating powers over individuals and businesses.
The buying of votes is corruption and it would be prohibited by law in a written constitution. This would effectively make socialism history. Statism would be ended at a stroke of the pen. Only the details would remained to be adumbrated.
The proper and sole role of the state to protect individual rights from individuals or groups who would threaten such through either force or fraud would be effected by police, courts, prisons and armed forces and these would be funded by voluntary taxation contributions.
This would be effected over a 20 year period of transition and during that time all taxation would be reduced incrementally to prepare people for the change until they are reduced ultimately to 0%.
