The dishonourable Remainer Amber Rudd Home Sec wants Big Brother intrusive powers to access encrypted communication and put the whole country under state surveillance ostensibly to prevent terrorism but that is not achieved by putting everyone under invasive surveillance every bit as totalitarian as Isis. You do not defeat the enemy by becoming the enemy and bringing in an identical system to what that enemy would impose if it could.Once again the biggest threat to British citizens is not some footling terrorists but the ever expanding State with its vast sweeping powers and its paternalistic statist authoritarianism.
