Trump Objectivists (?) in Denial
Yaron Brook is coming in for a fair bit of abuse from certain people who one assumes are Objectivists over his position on Trump who he asserts with all the evidence on his side it must be said, is a leftist on many issues not least economic. He has been shouted down at quite a few speaking venues on both sides of the Atlantic recently. But if he cannot be trusted on this issue how about those on the left who appear to see things the same way. Far Leftist George Galloway no less said on his RT programme Sputnik at the weekend that on economic issues Trump 'position is socialist. Our local newspaper carries a column by an avowed far leftist and he asserts that there is not a cigarette paper's difference between Trump and Sanders on economic policy except that according to him Trump does not mean it, it is just rhetoric whereas had Sanders stood against Trump he would have won because unlike Donald he would actually put such protectionist policies into action. From the horses's mouth Trump is a Leftist statist. Still the objectivists in question appear to have checked out their objectivity some time ago and are impervious to reason and have gone over to the dark side where emotions rule and the realm of feelings reigns supreme.

What happened is...and this is so god-damn hilarious it's actually quite sad..... America was playing this yuuuuge political card game -- and in a stroke of really dumb luck, drew the Joker card!! As you know, the Joker is wild. It's a trump card, interchangeable with any other card. Did America draw a good hand or a bad one? We don't even know yet! It could be beneficial...as all the uneducated inbred masses living in the hollers of Kentucky are expecting....or it could be disastrous as all the economists and pundits and blabbering speculating talking heads are predicting. Suddenly our economy and our national security and stability are a crap shoot, and we don't know if lady luck is going to smile on us or not. We're all afraid of 'not.'
Meanwhile the idiotic left-leaning and the idiotic right-leaning media are weighing in on this disgraceful spectacle that is going to dominate our landscape for the next four years. Unless he's impeached, which is unlikely...but would be soooo delicious. What's really worrisome is the numbskulls who voted for him are so clueless, I wonder if they'll even notice at any point that they've been conned! I think most of them are so happy that Hillary didn't get elected, they don't care that this Joker is just another corrupt politician who says one thing to get elected and another once he's got a foot in the door. What have we done.
lol and what is the Great Seer and arch Pretender Roy saying about this as he was I understand, sympathetic to Herr Trump?
Oh god, I did tune in to a recent podcast in which Roy called Trump "a good man." I guess all the pussy-grabbing, infidelity, and womanizing don't disqualify him as such. Little bit of a double-standard there, considering Bill Clinton did his share of grabbing and later lying about it in front of a grand jury. Perhaps it's OK for a Republican to behave disgracefully but not a Democrat? It's no matter, though, ole one-foot-in-the-grave Roy is declining rather noticeably. All of his senses are failing him. He can't see, hear, or speak clearly, yet he just won't shut the hell up. Meanwhile I'm sitting here like a chump, wanting to read REAL news -- not just liberals whining about how dumb conservatives are, or conservatives whining about how dumb liberals are. News!! You know....stuff that happens? Where can I get me some god-damn news.
Just read between the lines lol
Quite so. First thing to do if you want 'real' news...don't get it from social media as the vast majority of uninformed America does. I like to seek out information from multiple sources, some of them 'alternative' news outlets like RT, and middle-ground sources such as Reuters, and I also like BBC World News from time to time. Occasionally I look at grossly liberal sources like Huffington Post or The New York Times, and if I want to laugh at some ridiculously biased liberal-bashing, I might read Conservative Times. If you look at enough sources, ignore all the angry stupid opinions flying around, occasionally you'll recognize some truth emerging through the rhetoric.
Today is the final phase of the complicated and confounding process of an American general election, where the electorates that we have elected will elect to decide to who to elect as president-elect. I guess a direct election would just be too silly for the United States. United? Phhhuuuuaaah.
