I am starting a new religion.It is based on a mystical entity I dreamt of last night.It was a being of almighty power and dimension and it chose me as its representative!I am endowed with special powers that must not be questioned.Young people will come to my churches that I plan to build on every street corner and be indoctrinated I mean taught the only true way.Of course my religion will be protected by the State.No one must offend me or my feelings,how dare they even think of such blasphemous thoughts!Such hate crimes and bigotry will not be tolerated!Who knows what might befall such objectors to my divinely inspired edicts.Soon everyone will have to be converted to my faith.All laws will be changed to comply with my religion of course.Women will cover themselves in public. Our schools will be tax funded.Of course I am well aware that my religion will take several centuries to bed in.Many wars will have to be fought to lend it the authenticity of longevity.Millions will have to die sacrificed on the altar of the new faith before it is given its just recognition. Am I mad,how could such a thing ever come to pass you say?Is this all too far fetched? Thank God it was just a dream and such outlandish things could never happen here in the UK lol.

Altruism.Self sacrifice with its Christian Platonist roots.For centuries you have had it dinned into you.Sacrifice is the highest ideal,bare your neck to others needs and wants.To keep what is yours is evil,to give is good,the rich are evil the poor are good.Poverty is a virtue,wealth is the root of evil.Tax,tax,tax the rich till they squeal.Dare to achieve,aspire, become wealthy?Woe betide you,you will become hated,envied,lectured to,robbed stripped of your wealth to feed those who are too lazy to feed themselves and all in the name of the evil of altruism.This crime against humanity is committed under many names,Communism,Socialism,Fascism,Liberalism,Democracy,Conservatism but its goal is the same: to rule and enslave the minds of the creators and to bring into being a substrata of subhumanoids bred on welfare with a sense of entitlement hardwired into them represented by the power elite who promise them yet more of the unearned taking from the taxes of the few remaining producers who are stupid enough to carry on working under bondage.

It would be very hard for a man to argue that the world owed him a living.Even politicians would never come out with such a bald statement.In order to get away with such an obscene proposition the defender of such an untenable argument would have to deploy deliberately vague imprecise language with liberal helpings of euphemism and obsfuscation.Ostensibly laudatory statements along the lines of 'no man should go hungry or be without shelter' would have to be put to service.Even better, hunger ignorance and want could be presented as enemies to be fought and overcome by the benevolent State which is exactly what was done at the inception of the welfare stte in 1945.Thus the wool is pulled over people's eyes and no one has to think about where the money for such noble aims is going to come from.An impersonal agent called 'the government' is somehow going to magic this money out of thin air and play santa claus to every bum who chooses not to work or provide for himself.Thus all anathema can be heaped upon the government for not providing enough or for being heartless in its meagre response to the needs of the indigent.

No man would go to his neighbour and demand that he feed and shelter him,that indeed it is his duty to so do but he will vote for the politician who promises to take money from his neighbour in taxes to do just that.How can anyone doubt or question that such a system is depraved,corrupt and evil,that it robs people of their substance in the service of parasitism and mendicancy? Is it even possible to comprehend the state of moral depravity of the man who would make a career out of redistributing the money from the productive to the non productive and that a whole body of philosopy and politics could have been constructed to present such criminality as a moral ethical system and that if anyone demurs from such a view they would be castigagted as themselves being immoral and heartless?Such is the audacious achievement of the collectivists and socialists who now dare not speak their name and rather present themselves as social democrats or liberals.

How is this injustice to be properly challenged? Anyone who chooses to take on the collectivists would have to challenge the language they deploy and translate their true intent therby.No easy task...

Cameronian Damascene Conversion To NHS?(unedited)

Had to be rushed to hospital 4 o clock in the morning Thursday with severe asthma attack.Did 10 rounds with it before throwing in the towel and calling for an ambulance.Haven't seen a doctor for twenty five years hardly ever been in a hospital,haven't taken any medication for 35 years so it was all a very strange surreal experience.Two very nice folk picked me up put me on their trolley in the ambulance and there proceeded a hair raising dash to the hospital seven miles away courtesy of the pretty female driver who took corners like==== leaving me nauseous and disoriented.'It was an interesting journey' I said sheepishly and was rolled down the gangway and into the hospital.A homosexual sounding and looking assistant with a cold proceeded to wire me up and inject me with various chemicals to some of which I objected namely antibiotics as I had an allergic reaction to one when visiting the dentist 25 years ago.The asian doctor was a bit taken aback by my refusal but accepted it with good grace albeit with what appeared to be amused bafflement.Then I refused a blood test because they would have to use a vein on my up turned wrist and I couldn't handle that.By this time I could see I was in danger of exasperating them so agreed to the blood test but the asian wearily said it did not matter and went off to consult with his fellow asian doctor both of whom were charming to a fault it has to be said.I could see them laughing together so they obviously thought they had a joker on their hands.I had a nebulizer in oxygen mask which stabilised my condition - the second, as I had had one in the ambulance so these guys had effectively saved my life.Wasn't it churlish then to be objecting to their ministrations having placed myself under their expert care?I did have pangs of guilt but at the end of the day the individual is sovereign and has to be able to choose what medicine he is being subjected to even if his choice is motivated by ignorance and an irrational fear of hospitals,doctors and medicine which I freely confess to. The aforementioned homosexual gives me six tablets to swallow with water which I surprisingly take only to find out later they were steroids as they presented me with two boxes of them to take away with me and I get to read the side effects. If you take these pills you may want to commit suicide.If you stop taking them you may want to commit suicide.Thanks for telling me ahead of time docs.So I was then taken to the xray room.How can I say I do not want to be subjected to radiation thank you? At this point,it may well have been the proverbial straw so I submitted to the procedure, then am trundled through a deserted hospital ward and placed in a cubicle on a bed and asked if I want hospital pyjamas. I ask if it is optional, the aforementioneed homosexual says 'of course, it is not a prison' and leaves me to it.I have no sleep at all,it is 5am and can just hear the staff's quiet considerate subdued conversation at the desk a few yards away. One of them is commenting on Jeremy Clarkson's observations of public sector workers going on strike and needless to say is not in agreement with his tirade to say the least.Lights come on at 8am,sleep deprived and dazed I spend the next 5 hours watching a procession of nurses doctors,orderlies file past through the corridor going about their respective tasks.A cleaner wipes the floor repeatedly every 20 minutes and the place is as clean as a whistle and you could eat your food off it.Everything works like clockwork,an athomosphere of quiet professional efficiency pervades the hospital and yes I am humbly impressed.One of the nurses is describing her union activities,marching with placards and the attention she got from the local media during the 'day of action'.She is clearly a bolshie because she goes on to explain how she is firing of emails to her superiors and getting back dusty answers with references to the objectional tone of her missives.About 10 o clock a dapper gentleman obviously the head doctor appears trailing behind him seven acolyte trainees in his wake who proceed to place themselves at the foot of my bed somewhat disconcertingly.Good God I say,is there anyone missing?The doctor goes over the events of the past few hours.'I understand you have gone back to childhood with this asthma which has appeared after a 35 year absence'.I try and pretend this is a private conversation averting my eyes from the assorted group and replying to his observations as best I can.I ask a few questions to make it look like I am reasonably intelligent and not intimidated by the occasion and after a few perfunctory comments they all troop out.Now with no sleep I am beginning to feel very frazzled.I hear a strangely familiar sound outside.Seagulls! I can just perceive sunlight through the frosted window.I want to go now.It has all been very interesting but I just want to get home.I can hear the conversation at the desk the hub of operations,where cases are being discussed it just all seems very professional and methodical and an amazing operational feat. As endles procession of staff pas back and forth I have the distinct feeling of having been left in Kafkaesque limbo.Finally I cannot handle it any more and stop a passing nurse and ask when I will be able to leave.She has buzzed the doctor and it will be just twenty minutes.Another nurse shows me how to use the equipment i have been furnished with,six different pills and paraphernalia.So what do I think of the NHS now?It was only a snapshot but I have to say all my comments up to now have been based on principles and theories but having now experience the NHS directly for the first time I am kind in awe of it and have a kind of respect for the institution as I have personally experienced it.It is not scientific,just my subjective take but I think it was fair and accurate.I still believe the whole thing would be better privatised,I could have bought those asthma inhalers at the local store and been spared all the rigmarole and bureaucratic runaround but as we are where we are and on its own terms I would still give it 10 out of 10.

Why are Conservatives worshippers of tradition? Harrison Mystical Materialist

Don't know what to make of the first half of the George Harrison Scorsece film last night.It was a bit of a muddle but I think that is his MO.Half the people who spoke I did not recognise because in order to distance himself from Run of the Mill documentarists Scor thinks it is a cachet not to include their names.The only thing I was thinking last night was that the genius of the Beatles was obviously Paul.In five minutes or less I had counted 20 classic ballad tracks of his but when I tried to count lennon's contribution I was struggling after identifying just three. It has now been confirmed that Paul was the driver and had he not rallied the troops a good third of their recordings would never have seen the light of day as Lennon was notoriously lazy.There has been so much hype and idolatory surrounding Lennon,about he was the Beatles but there is no hard evidence to back this up.He made a right tit of himself in 69 with his bed in peace nonsense,got lost in avant garde excrement with Loco Ono,flirted with Janov Primal Scream and then retreated into pseudo domestic bliss whilst Loco built up the Lennon empire.As for Harrison he got lost up his own mystical fundament and started to preach religious mumbo jumbo after being slipped some acid by his dentist.They all trooped off to Maharashi but soon took flight after his charlatanism became obvious to everyone but George who by this time was set on a path of blisful inanition.He wrote a handful of cracking songs not least the iconic Taxman and was genial enough but definitely the third Beatle and hardly deserving of 4 hours on BBC2.It turns out as a footnote that when a mad assailant broke into his mansion and stabbed Harrison just missing his vital organs by inches instead of repelling the would be assassin Harrison sat there and chanted Hari Krishna whilst his long suffering American wife Oliva beat the attacker over the head with a lampshade thus saving George from certain death.You couldn't make it uo.Give Peace a Chance what?!

This all begs the question what makes certain celebrities embrace mysticism when they appear to have the world at their feet.I think it is misplaced guilt.We live in a culture that says money making is evil and to assuage this unearned guilt they retreat into the unreality of mysticism and merge into an unfocused induced trance-like state where guilts and neurosis are purged in an amnesiacal haze brought on my chanting into a hypnoidal state which is how Harrison describes the process in the Scorsese film.Yes he was an arch defender of property rights and opponent of taxation per se but his irrational unease with wealth led him to the unreason of mysticism as a refuge.This is where all the hypocrisy comes in.We now have an extremely wealthy man living in a mansion that most quotes ordinary people could not even imagine in their wildest dreams preaching to the world the virtues on non materialsm.A few miles down the road John Lennon is sitting in his mansion at a grand piano or was it Steinway? singing a song to us with the lyrics,Imagine no possessions.Clearly none of them did irony.The hangers on were too timid and self interested to point out the glaring contradictions.Both Beatles now literally had everything: their spiritual/materialist cake and could eat it too.

This brazen hypcocrisy is now common.The two Beatles were merely the trail blazers in it.Now we have to listen to lectures by millionaire rock stars on an almost daily basis on the the evils of capitalism. Must it not be intensely irritating to people who struggle to make ends meet to have to listen to the likes of George Harrison in his mansion telling themthat money is not important?It is also the height of irresponsibility as many impressionable people possible tens of thousands who knows? dropped out of the material world altotgether but unlkike Harrison did not have a mansion to retreat into and ended up destitute on drugs and then dead.Some legacy George.

As someone has just helpfully pointed out to me the history of taxation is a long one indeed.I do not pretend to be a student of that.I seem to remember reference to ancient Egypt in that regard.One thing I do know is that Jesus Christ appeared in the Bible to give his tacit consent to the principle of taxation when he said to an enquirer into the proper role of the State: "render unto Caesar what is Caesar's.Someone else also told me that in the Mormon church it was said that people should obey their State masters if they are honourable men.There is more evidence amongst the big religions of an anti capitalist,individualist bias.I think the Socialists can rightly claim religion as being on their side.There is some evidence that contradicts this trend however re the quote: 'you do not see the righteous begging for bread'.The good samaritan is able to help because he has money but altruism seems to be advocated here.The story of the talents may also be construed as a defence of Capitalism and investment so the picture is not unequivocal. The point is however that just because taxation stretches back into the mists of time and even Jesus Christ seemed to accept it morally does not mean it is moral or good.As well say human sacrifices go back thousands of years ergo they must be good.The argument from tradition is fallacious.If it were not one would have to accept cannibalsim as a moral system since it stretches back a long way.

Why We Desperately Need A Capitalist Party

On Con home recently someone posted a piece about the need for a moral defence of Capitalism.All well and good but the writing in question completely failed to propose any coherent strategy to that end.It is futile in my opinion to expect the Conservatives to mount such a defence.They lack the philosophical consistency and rigour to do it.They pride themselves on their anti intellectualism and pragmatism.This is why over generations they have betrayed the cause of freedom and compromised with collectivist premises and policies all the way down the line from the construction of the Welfare State to the UK membership of the EU.Their tacit if not overt support of a 'constitutional' Monarchy is yet another indication of how they are not equipped to defend liberty and have no moral ground upon which to do it.Waiting for Conservatives to secure our liberty agsainst a predaTory illiberal State will be a truly Becketian excercise of delusional and groundless wishful thinking escalating to Dizzying levels of Kafkaesque futility.

Who Will Defend Liberty?

It is not fair to expect producers and business people to be on the frontline in defending the right to keep the fruits of their labour for this reason.Producers and businessmen spend all their time pursuing their goals and objectives and do not necessarily have the tools and knowledge to argue philosophically against the State's predatory and illegitimate claims on their productive labour through taxation.Just because someone is a very sucessful businessman does not mean he or she will be able or willing to articulate a coherent defence of property rights from an anti taxation position.That takes an acquisition of knowledge and great familiarity with the arguments against egalitarianism and this is not something necessarily the business world is cognizant of, familiar with or equipped to articulate.Businessmen are not ipso facto qualified to give an intellectual defence of freedom.That is the job for intellectuals and activists,writers,bloggers,indeed anyone who is prepared to enter the fray and campaign for liberty.It would be nice if they were as their contribution to the battle would have extra ballast and weight simply because they would be speaking from a position of direct knowledge and experience of the productive wealth acquisition principle but we cannot expect them to be experts in the defence thereof.The greatest defenders of liberty have been profesional writers and thinkers, not entrepreneurs.This is because writing is a profession in itself and a comletely different discipline from trade and business and an ability in one does not necessarily imply and ability in the other.The downside of this reality is that such intellectual defenders of liberty can be dismissed as mere armchair theorists and ivory tower intellectuals although the Left are quite happy to quote verse and chapter from the quitessential armchair theorist Marx who apparently never set foot inside a factory and spent most of his life in the British library! In his defence at least the latter did not rely on State handouts but instead the patient financial assistance of Engels albeit with rich irony with money sourced from the Capitalist system he sought to destroy, but I digress.

None of the above however is to excuse the craven capitulation of the business class to the anti capitalist sentiment abroad,the grovelling apologetic defence of Capitalism,the half hearted support of it, the damning it with faint praise, the obscene defence of it on altruistic grounds of all things.If business men cannot defend Capitalism properly they would do better to say nothing at all.

Until I understood the above regarding defence of Capitalism as a job for profesional writers and thinkers etc I was prone to get very annoyed with the so-called business community but I think I maligned them albeit unwittingly here.The one group of people I will not forgive however and who deserve the greates obloquoy is the so- called defenders of Capitalism ie the Conservatives.They have done more to betray our liberty and freedom in the last 200 years than any other group including the Socialists and the Labour Party.Their crime is unforgiveable because it is their job for which are paid out of the public purse to defend our freedoms and they have done more to destroy them as I say than any other group, political orgnisation and movement throughout history.Why do I say this? Well everyone knows the Socialists hate freedom and liberty and Capitalism and they only pretend to favour it if pushed but the Conservatives are supposed to be the defenders of Capitalism and their betrayal of it is so complete,absolute,comprehensive and total that no one could possibly claim that it is accidental or caused by some misunderstandng of the principles of Capitalism.It is deliberate and intentional.No mistake over such a wide span of generations and time could possibly be accidental.They know exactly what they are doing.It is systematic and conscious.To vote for them after such knowledge is to participate in one's own destruction and is an act of self immolation.

Here to interject a small but not insignificant point.I do not seek to decry intellectuals but only to point out that at least inthe UK there is a deep seated distrust of them particularly from the Right. The writer Anthony Burgess used to decry British mistrust of intellectuals and I know it has a long history but more recent times and events have given it momentum and a patina of justification.Conservatives sometimes appear militantly anti intellectual and I think this is because of recent history re intellectuals and how it lead to the bloodbaths of the 20th century via Communism and Socialism and Fascism which of course are all variants of collectivism as much as the Left seeks to distance itself from Fascism and purports to be its greatest enemy.Hitler lest anyone needs reminding called his party National Socialist.How the Left resent this being pointed out to them which is the very reason why it should be,regularly!So because of this lamentable record of intellectuals siding with totalitarian concepts the Right Conservatives wrongly concluded that they should abandon the field of intellectualism entirely which has only led to the Left by default, holding complete hegemony over it in all our institutions of learning and media.But the point is this,intellectual promulgation of ideas is work,productive activity if it takes the form of books written and sold,dvd broadcast and diseminated etc.Intellectual property is as valid as any other and should not be decried or apoloogised for.It is the food and ammuniton for the public and as such is essential.

So to conclude who should we go to for an unbreached intellectual philosophical comprehensive defence of liberty and Capitalism? There is only one writer I could in all honesty recommend and that is Ayn Rand.I am very familiar with her writings but would not in any way pretend to be in the same stratosphere as her in any way shape or form and and consider myself as nothing more than a pedestrian student of her work.There may be other defenders but I have never come across them.Ludvig von mises has given a partial defence of Capitalism.Frederik Basiat is a brilliant essayist and satirist of collectivist thinking but for a complete,closed universalist philosophical system comprehensively supported by rational argument no one has come close to Ayn Rand.It is to her writings alone I would direct any students of Capitalism.Even if afterwards people choose to dismiss her arguments they cannot really argue agsinst Capitalism without first familiarising themselves with its most brilliant and uncompromising defender.( please forgive appalling grammatical and spelling errors,they will be corrected in due course, or at least those I identify!)

The 19th century writer Henry David Thoreau went to jail for not paying his taxes and wrote an essay about it entitled On Civil Disobedience.I hold no brief for him from a philosophical standpoint as his writing spawned the environmentalist movement of the 20 and 21st century but he is an interesting though sadly rare example of someone who understood the essential tyranny of taxation and the implicit violation of liberty it entails.Precious few others have taken a stand.Indirectly we have to come up to the present day almost with Ken Dodd who simply did not file his tax returns but he did not explicity consciously stand on principle in so doing although his comments suggested that he understood the prevailing evil of the system when he remarked that he kept his money around his house because he thought society was going to collapse in the 70s and he needed to take precautions against such a calamitious eventuality. He was spared jail only because he was practically universally loved as a national treasure and comic genius adding immeasurably to the joy of nations and the tyranical State dared not risk the wrath of the people by incarcerating him and therby possibly precipitating a mass revolt against such a tyranical tax system.Lester Pigott on the other hand being a less sympathetic character faced the full rigor of the law's wrath and was promptly jailed for similar act of 'tax evasion'.The State is sinuous and serpentine in its carefully selective deprivations of people's liberty.Other than that no other high profile case springs to mind although Phillip Green's heroic avoidance of tax has to be commended alongside Vodafone's.To be fair however, there are perhaps many more such fine examples except that I do not have further details myself.

Next time I will discuss how such abovementioned examples could be utilised into a more general and systematic mass resistance programme against the bully looter State.

Without wanting to be a Pain or a Burk it has to be said, a strong coffee does spur the Capitalist revolutionary impulse.All things become possible for the duration.Not that I am a hot head.I understand the Marxist thing about the long march through the institutions.But last night I was a thinking.If someone is mugging you and demanding your worldy goods (not that there are any other sort I might add) do your really have to launch into a philosophical discussion with him about the evil of plunder and the instigation of force against another to apropriate his or her wealth,or do you just hit him over the head with a blunt instrument? Advocates of unregulated laissez faire capitalism will be in the ascendancy if they seize the day and push home their advantage by delineating the parameters of State power,arguing for individual rights,phasing out of government programmes,across the board privatisations of all extant State bodies that do not fall under the essential role of the State such as armed forces,police and law courts.The economic arguments however will not suffice without a moral argument for Capitalism as people are not swayed by implacable logic so much as by moral ethical arguments and it is in this field that so called defenders of Capitalism have been so woefully and pitifully inadequate not to say delinquent.Once again it is the Conservatives who have been largely responsible for damning capitalism with faint praise,apologising for it,attempting to sneak in capitalism lite through the back door,watering down and emasculating it with hamstringing regulations and qualifications,in effect sabotaging it by contaminating and corrupting it with mixed economy policies thus discrediting the very thing they claim to advocate ie Capitalism.This then gives ammunition to the anti Capitalists who say it does not work.As most people have no idea what capitalism actually is -and believe absurdly that it means welfare and taxation - this is a successful gambit by capitalism's enemies.A little basic eduacation would explain that Capitalism is not about regulation,taxation,government picking winners,red tape,bureaucracy,quangoes and that all such things are the antithesis of Capitalism.But this alone will not suffice as it is in the realm of morality and ethics that as I have said, Capitalism needs to be explained and defended.Without this moral ethical philosophical foundation there will be no sea change in the public mind regarding capitalism.

Testimony to the truth that it is not economics that move and inform people's judgements but ethics and morality is the continued popularity in spite of all the economic arguments against it of Statism,welfare and Socialism.People want to believe that they are on the side of the angels,the good guys,the little man and Socialism has been so good at convincing people that it holds the moral high ground that it has managed to carry the day in the face of all the evidence to the contrary that it only delivers poverty crime,moral squalor,dependency, depradation,unemployment over-regulated markets,brain drain,global welfare dependency as peoples flood in from all over the world to batten on to the handout society funded by British taxpayers.In the face of all these self evidencies about the consequences of Socialism Conservatives are weak, vacillating,timorous and apologetic and effectively silent about Capitalism's virtues.In this moral vacuum the Socialists and Statists step in have carte blanche,occupying the moral highground entirely by default.

As a regular visitor to Conhome and other Conservative sites I come across a lot of hostility to my pro Capitalist views. Only half the comments I post see the light of day as they seem to be very sensitive to criticism and can only take so much.They are quite happy to let left wing people post however so I leave others to draw their own conclusions on that one.I should not be surprised at this I suppose but I am for several reasons.The level of incomprehension I meet with is quite shocking.I am accused of being Stalinist, an SWP mole trying to discredit Capitalism! I am going to try and monitor and report back over the next few months on my BBC listening to document Left wing bias where I observe it.To build up a sort of dosier as it were.To start the process I will refer to a comment by Justin Webb whom I lothe with a viscerality that is is frankly verging on the unhealthy.In fact this whole excercise may just be a reflection of my latent masochism.For a sort of Tory/Capitalist having to listen to the BBC period is an exquisite form of torture but someone has to do it gentle readers and I have elected to suffer as it were on your behalf - so you don't have to.Bear with me.With nose firmly held I shall proceed.

Today on a discussion about funding of the arts by philanthropists, Justin Webb referred pejoratively(believe me, I have an acute antennae for this sort of thing) to 'Big Money'.Has he ever made pejorative reference to 'Big Governement'?Has he ever.Is it not odd incidentally to reflect on the attitude of those who think the Arts should be funded by the State in that they are effectively saying that unless people are forced to support the Arts by the compulsory extraction of taxes the Arts would perish?What a profound lack of confidence in the Arts this implies.Or is it that they see the State as a tool in their cultural war,funding their thinly disguised propaganda masquerading as Art? I think both.

I think we need a Conservative journalist like Andrew Neil on the Today panel to get a little balance.Perhaps I should start a campaign?

You will notice that on the BBC the Left are always given twice as much time to put their case.They will even take up the time of their Conservative opposite number,interrupting,talking over them and of course the host will allow this trespass as he or she is coming from the same liberal left position.The host will almost always let the liberal guest have the last word.

Finally, the Today programme would not be complete without a performance by their own liberal darling Sham Liberty Chuckyourbalti prissily defending in faux moral terms the rights of would-be terrorists to go about their business of blowing us all up unmolested by the securtiy services.This apologist for all things terrorist and the free pass she gets from the BBC makes my gorge rise and is probably inimical to my blood pressure but, - all in the course of duty!

I am a great fan of America but it shocks me that it can lock up so many of its citizens for drug possession and prostitution.That a country born in freedom could end up seeking to police people's souls and dictate what they can and cannot ingest is troubling.If we believe in a limited State we must be consistent and not then seek to wage war on people's choices however dumb they may be. Prostitution may well be abhorrent but again the hypocrisy abounds.Marriage could be seen as glorified prostitution.The man brings home the bacon and the women provides sexual services. Human imagination is limitless.Millions if not billions of books have been written,works of the imagination.The Lord of the Rings,Harry Potter, the Bible.Is it just another fairy tale? It was written by human beings and we know how it is human to make things up. Yes,God is supposed to have infused them with the words but I could make up a story and say it was dictated by God.Why should we take such things on trust?

Religious people have left a trail of havoc and oceans of blood through the centuries.I think a large dose of cynicism is in order.Scott Peck thinks most religious beliefs are neurotically determined and he could be right.Most religious people I know are nincompoops.Even Roy Masters sounds kooky to me these days.He claims you can find God in physics but I find most of what he says incoherent gibberish.If we can find God in physics why do we need faith?Does that not undercut the whole belief thing?

There should be a separation of school and State.These government tax funded faith schools are troubling.I do not want to subsidise mad mullah Muslim schools or any other religious ones for that matter.Have we not got religion to blame for Communism and Socialism? The idea that we are our brother's keeper informs the Left thinking and from which was forged the Welfare State -which was even called the New Jerusalem.

When we examine God objectively he is not avery sympathetic character, displaying totalitarian psychopathic tendencies.If man created beings who had created the havoc and horror that humans have he would have a lot to answer for.Hasn't God got a lot to answer for if we accept he is the creator of mankind?He seemed content to sit back and watch jews herded into the gas chambers.

I am not saying any of the above is necessarily my viewpoint but I do think we should be a bit more critical of religious belief and ask ourselves whether to suspend disbelief re God is that healthy.

I have been away from my computer since late Sep 09 for the simple reason that it broke and financial challenges meant I could not have it repaired.My latest posts (ie the two under this one) are some I did months ago on my word pad and they do need editing and correcting but I have posted them anyway and will touch them up when I can.I am glad that the blogosphere did not collapse from my absence......

Watching a David Starkey prog on Elizabeth 1st recently it emerged to my historically ignorant self that the habbit of taxing everything that moves and doesn't move is of semi ancient origin.Our greatest monarch- as Starkey would have it- was busily taxing her subject like there was no tomorrow,nothing escaped her ravenous maw and so it is today under our second elizaabeth although it should be stated of course that the honourable lady is entirley blameless in this present frenzied raid on the hapless 21st century British taxpayers and is but the mere innocuous shadow of an old tyranny now reconfigured in the form of parlaiment. A tyranny made all the more shameless and abject it must be said in that it has the imprimatur of the British electorate who every four years vote back into power their own oppressors!Can it be doubted that taxation is the tool of tyranny as a man once said?It is a modern form of slavery in that it necessitates State coercion to force a disarmed population into the sevitude of those who will not work to maintain their existence.it is ann insurance scheme that no insurance company would ever dare to concoct.. It would be indicted if it did for running a ponzi scheme.The welfare state is totally unfunded,built on a promise which is not worth the paper it isn't even written on.The foundations of the welfare state are of course socialist and thus made of sand.From each according to his ability to each according to his need.From independence to dependency in one slick fatuous bromide and on such evil foundations the welfare state was born,a monstrous afterbirth an Hegelain deformity proudly displaying its hideous stumps and misbegotten hideousness like a badge of honour. A nation brought low by a con trick,a ponzi scheme which if perpetrated by any businessman whould find him in jail for the rest of his life, enacted by people so amoral that they are proud of their accomplishment and preen themselves on its efficacy and brilliance.The inverted moral universe these denizens of the dark inhabit in unimaginable in its depravity.We live with its baneful effects on a daily basis and our slavery is made all the more onerous with the knowledge that we were and the willing participants in this human bondage.

Freedom is not lost overight but taken away in installments.This way anyone claiming that the incremental erosion of freedom is a threat to liberty can be readily and effectively accused by the freedom stealers of making a mountain out of a molehill. it is only down the line when the accumulative effect of freedom erosion becomes apparent that it may dawn on the general populace hitherto preoccupied with their own daily struggle for a living that their freedom is indeed under threat, by which time it is invariably to late to mount any effective resistance as all the institutions have by this time been so comprehensively co opted into the service of tyranny and oppression and the anti freedom trend already so extensively established and entrenched that it is impossible to overcome.Like the lobster that is slowly being boiled in cold water by the time people awaken to the threat posed by the anti freedom forces it is too late to do anything about it as the powers ranged against them are at this point too mighty, institutionalised and entrenched to repel.Thus do people lose their freedoms under the installment plan and no clearer illustration of this insidious principle could be offered than that of the hydra headed pan European institution known as the EU which has sinuously advanced its totalitarian agenda over a period of half a century by carefully gradated calibrated and calculated stages, at each step justifiying its further encroachments on National sovereignty and liberty in high sounding pseudo Democratic terms masking its insidious intent in coded emollient language calculated to induce a stupefying bored indifference amongst the general population who will then at this final concluding stage be completely subject to its totalitarian dictat.

Ideology is a much despised word in modern political nomenclature but ironically enough the benefactor of this agreed upon omerta by the political establishment elite on ideology is ideology itself.It can thus do its work unoticed existing in a subterrannean netherworld of unspoken established othordoxies.A love that dare not speak its name of ideology thus escapes any challenge, forever lurking in the darker recessesses of the collective unconscious and national psyche all the more powerfully positioned to spread its invisible noxious poison unchecked into the body politic.What is this established orthodoxy,this political shibbolith,this ideology which chooses to lurk on the outskirts of political consciousness, carrying out sorties on the polity,wreaking havoc on the culture of our beleagured and broken nation?It is none other than the ideology of Collectivism,Socialism and its greatest friend is the cover of darkness and its partner in crime Pragmatism.This is where the Conservatives come in.They are friends coming to the assistance of Socialist ideology via pragmatism.Thus we hear from the Tories the mantra that the NHS is safe in their hands.Cameron has gone down this path of slavish adherence to the Socialist nightmare vision of Socialise health care that is the NHS.How proudly he champions this Socialist neanderthal in the name of anti ideology! We can now see how ideology spurned in public discourse continues to exist in reality and informs all political policy and that rather than rejecting it as an anachronism and throw back to 20 th century thinking it is an indespensable ally that must be explicity articulated in any posited objectives by all parties in the clear light of day so that never again can the leftist ideologues promote their policies under false colours of non partisan non ideology. Let their poisonous ideolgy rather be named and called out.And let the Conservatives totally and utterly disavow any tincture of socialist ideology from their public policy especially heaven forbid when smuggled under cover of the arch fiend and impostor, Pragmatism.

Democracy Is Slavery!

Mr Elephant in the drawing room Democracy is the problem.It is the mantra all Demagogues use when they wish to enslave the masses with their own vote.Like the Jews who paid for their rail journey to the gas chambers we pay our slavemasters and go freely to the ballot box to do it.Socialism via mind control has got pretty much everyone in its grip and only the blogosphere is attempting to awaken the living dead to its plight but there is no sign of the life as yet from the corpse of the UK Collective which suggests the rot has gone too deep and there will be no immaculate resurrection from the dead.

We are effectively crying in the wildernesss.The mainstream media has become a cesspit of Statism and in the words of the stalwart Fox presenter Glen Beck is the true fringe media.We are the mainstream.Is there a 'we' or is there only me? I despair of fellow Conservatives.In the UK the Conservatives are so far to the Left they are more like American Democrats.I have very little in common with them to the point that I am thinking of no longer calling myself one.I am ashamed and embarrassed by them.Their proposed reform is so tentative,timorous and peicemeal that it hardly warrants the term. Cameron is a slippery Social Democrat,Tory so- called intelllectuals are seeking to adopt the 'progressive' mantle and there is an unseemly rush to the centre which is already overcrowded - if the centre of a vaccum could be so described.There is a depressing and weary predictability to the Prime Minister in waiting Cameron's pronouncements and but for the fact that another four years of Brown would break the camel's back I find myself wishing for the Tory pre election cat in the bag triumphalist tone to be silenced by hubristic defeat a la Kinnock back in the 90's with his hillarious pre-election victory rally.

It is only when you listen to the ConservativeLabourLiberal Man with his emollient samespeak where words are uttered totally devoid of meaning that you realise just how much work would need to be done to change political dicourse here in the UK,what a Grand Canyon of a chasm there is between the politcal classes and the man on the street who is the victim of the Democratic stitch up and the dumbing down by the Liberal media and State Education establishment. What tyrannical sway the Statists hold over the hapless bemused and hypnotised masses! If it takes two or three generations to breed out the intelligence,indpendence of thought and autonomy of people this is not going to be undone in a generation, if ever.As the spiritual guide and seer Roy Masters has said, it is easy to corrupt someone and brainwash them,almost impossible to undo the damage.A nation reaches a critical mass of rotteness and decay and like the Roman Empire there is no way back.Have we reached this tipping point?

We have to ask a simple question.Are the Tories able and willing to do what will be required to save this country from moral spiritual intellectual decay and death?To ask the question is to the see the folly of such a forlorn hope.Is it sufficient to cross your fingers and hold your nose and just vote Tory? No! They have been given the benefit of the doubt for too long.They have no answers.They have become part of the problem.Whether it be tax,welfare, law and order,BBC,the EU their response is to compromise,parley,appease,temporize,accomodate,,negotiate and surrender.This is betrayal on a industrial scale.It is business as usual,the politics of consensus that Thatcher shattered in the 80's for which she was summarily stabbed in the back by her own party. Since then it has been one long retreat as a default mode for the party that lost its nerve and has been apologising ever since for the one brief moment when it actually believed in something other than power for power's sake.Vote for that? Surely only Conservatives with a self esteem deficit and a masochistic streak could possibly consider accomodating such moral cowardice and delinquency by rewarding it with their vote?

Who will dare question the Sacred Cow of Democracy? Who will point out that the Democratic Emperor is stark naked? Who will challenge the root of Statism, Socialism and Welfarism, which is the rotten intellectually morally bankrupt philosophy of self sacrifice? The sacrifice of the good to the evil,the moral to the imoral,the demented to the sane, the pure to the impure, the industrious to the slothful,the sober to the drunk,the thrifty to the profligate.Step forward men of valour and courage and expect to have a ton of Liberal ordure heaped on top of you!Do not flinch,do not cower and you will come out smelling like a rose.

As the New Labour project putters to its denoument no one who favours freedom over tyranny can be that optimistic about the incoming Cameron Project.Conservatives on other blogs seem to think that a Tory government can improve on the mess left by Labour but the feeble and half hearted reforms they are promising will clearly not do the job which means it will be business as usual,politics as usual -unless a new way is presented and there seems to be no one or no organisation coming forward with the kind of radical solutions to the UK's ills that would be required to save it from its present predicament.Perhaps it is the case that a country can reach a tipping point when things have gone so far that nothing can save it from terminal decline.I think we have reached that stage.In 1979 when Labour last took the country to the economic brink at least we had Thatcher to start her revolution.Now we have David Cameron...

So what can be done? I think the Conservatives are a bust flush and there is no point thinking that they will be able to offer the radical reform or revolution required.We will have to look elsewhere.At this point my ruminations lead me to a large blank out.Do my thousands of readers have any answers?Until Conservative voters come to the same conclusion about the Party that I have come to we are set for more of the same I am afraid.
